QA Lead / Test Infrastructure Engineer

Resolve parity at V1 isn't a nice-to-have, it's a launch gate — professional editors won't switch to software that's only good because of AI. And video editing has a brutal combinatorial surface: every codec × every effect × every timeline configuration. Somebody has to make sure a feature ship doesn't silently break a Premiere XML import six months from now. That's this seat.
The role
At 10 people, everyone tests their own stuff today. That doesn't scale against video editing's combinatorial complexity. You'll build automated test pipelines early — especially regression testing against reference frames — and become the person who catches what breaks before a customer does.
What we're looking for
Real video/media QA experience — not generic web QA. Codec artifacts, frame-level timing issues, and color accuracy validation require domain knowledge that web testing doesn't teach. Backgrounds we'd prioritize: Adobe, Avid, or streaming-company QA orgs.
You should also be someone who writes automation, not just manual test plans — at this size, the QA Lead builds the framework, not just runs it.
